Recruitment of 14 Teachers for St. Augustine’s College, Kabba.
The Principal of St. Augustine’s College mentioned that one of the major challenges is the lack of teaching faculty at the college that are fully dedicated. He mentioned that the teaching faculty is only 19, and there are about 14 subjects, including biology, chemistry, and economics, for which the school lacks adequate faculty.
At the board meeting of June 2023, the board voted to employ full teaching faculty for the college and to pay them the same as the government salary rate. This is the First Foundation Project. The Academic Committee, led by Mr. Emmanuel Ojo, did an advertisement, made selections, conducted interviews, and employed 14 teachers in the following subjects.
