Recruitment of 14 Teachers for St. Augustine's College, Kabba.
The Principal of St. Augustine’s College mentioned that one of the major challenges is the lack of teaching faculty at the college that are fully dedicated. He mentioned that the teaching faculty is only 19, and there are about 14 subjects, including biology, chemistry, and economics, for which the school lacks adequate faculty.
At the board meeting of June 2023, the board voted to employ full teaching faculty for the college and to pay them the same as the government salary rate. This is the First Foundation Project. The Academic Committee, led by Mr. Emmanuel Ojo, did an advertisement, made selections, conducted interviews, and employed 14 teachers in the following subjects. Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Animal Husbandry, Marketing, Agricultural Science, Civic Education, Basic Technology, Geography, and Yoruba. Which, about 15 million naira, was paid to the 14 teachers annual salaries. This is the reason we are coming: all alumni set of St. Augustine’s College Kabba to join the foundation.

The project was organized and fully financed by Professor Olorunfemi Ojo Joseph with the objective of examining the economic, governmental, and socio-developmental activities in Kabba.
The research initiative was designed to generate practical insights into the local economy, governance structures, and community dynamics. The findings were subsequently integrated into classroom instruction to enhance students’ understanding of real-life economic and civic processes within their immediate environment.
After the research exercise, awards were presented to the three best-performing groups. Each group received certificates of recognition and monetary prizes in acknowledgment of their academic rigor, teamwork, and quality of research output.
